GAME RULES AND CHRONO LIMITS

This is the one everyone's been waiting for.

Step onto the ultimate battlefield - sprawling woods, rolling terrain, fortified positions, and multiple structures built for non-stop action! Every inch of this field is designed to test your strategy, teamwork, and grit.

Two Teams (RED FORCE vs YELLOW FORCE)

Nine Flag Stations to control

Total Domination on the line

Each game will be a full hour of high energy combat, giving you time to push, defend, and execute your chosen strategy. And just when you think it's over we send the game into overdrive with a 30-minute FINAL BATTLE to cap the day!

Make memories you will talk about long after the smoke clears at Operation Armed Force.

Whether you're leading the charge or holding the line, this is more than a game it's an all out battle for total control!

Online registration closes at 11:59pm on Wednesday, May 13th. All pre-registrations after this time must be done on site the day of the event and will not get to pick team. Pricing will increase to $44.99 day of event. Please pre register and save!

GAME FORMAT

This is a Flag Based - Domination style game.

Objective is to control as many of the nine flag bases as possible and hold.

RESPAWN

Each team will have a Starting / Respawn Base. Once eliminted players will report back to their home base and instant respawn from that point. Players may leave and re-enter the field at any time but must spawn at home base upon return.

SCORING

Points can be earned by turning the Flag Bases to your teams color and holding.

Points will earned at the 20,40,60 minute mark of each game.

40 Min - 10 Points Each

60 Min - 15 Points Each

Final Battle (30 Mins)

Flag points will be earned at the 10,20,30 minute mark

The team earning the most flag points throughout the day will be announced as the winning Force!

Face Masks Are Now Required For Everyone Ages 12 and Up To Enter Buildings

Exclusions:

-Anyone with documented medical contraindications to facial covers such as active asthma or COPD.

-Persons who are deaf or hard of hearing – or those who care for or interact with a person who is hearing impaired if they rely on lip reading to communicate.

-Persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health conditions or other sensory sensitivities.

-Persons who are outdoors unless the person cannot substantially maintain appropriate social distancing from others outside of the person’s household. Facial coverings should, however, be kept accessible in the event of encountering a larger group.

-Persons who are exercising, such as jogging, bicycling, or swimming, etc, either alone or in small groups where physical distancing of 6 feet or greater can be maintained. A facial covering should be kept accessible in the event of encountering a larger group.

All customers playing paintball outdoors must keep a mask ready to use in safe zone area if social distancing 6 feet apart is not possible.

Airsoft players must keep a mask on until entering playing arena and putting on safety goggles.

Multi wraps, shemaghs, and other face coverings are allowed if you do not have a medical style mouth/nose cover.

New Paintball Gun Rules – 5.5bps Max or Mech Only

Over the years our experienced staff has had the opportunity to have played or been involved in every style of paintball both competitively and recreational. This has allowed us to witness both the positive and negative effects of every format, industry change, and technology that has been introduced to paintball the past twenty years. Running a field we see first hand on a daily basis how these changes effect both new and experienced players alike.

Paintball gun technology has increasingly advanced to the point that the rates of fire are consistently high causing players of all skill levels to purchase guns that have more fire power to be competitive on the field. Unfortunately, to be competitive it forces other players to start with or upgrade their gear to equipment that shouldn’t be getting used against new players or by those who are just getting into the game. Due to this, we feel that large numbers of players are having a negative or sub par experience at an early stage causing many to stop playing. This never gives them the opportunity to experience paintball in its purest form that made us fall in love with the game in its “classic” format. We believe that these fast electronic guns and reactive bounce triggers have prohibited much more growth within the industry than many realize.

The “classic” format that was created in 2016 allows only guns that shoot in mechanical (no batteries) mode, or electronic guns that shoot at a maximum of 5.5 balls per second to be used on the field. This ensures that players of all skill levels can play together without worry of consistently getting overshot, having a frustrating experience, and ultimately quitting or not coming back to play in the future. It also keeps paint consumption lower which helps make paintball more budget friendly for the masses, while allowing players to play more paintball each day for the same cost.

Insane Paintball believes in the long term growth of paintball and we feel that not allowing high rates of fire by electronic guns will encourage more new players to play in a fun environment that is safe, exciting, and competitive turning more players into regulars over time.

Effective April 20th, 2019 Insane Paintball will be adopting the 5.5 bps maximum or mechanical gun only style of play for all recreational weekend play at our facility. We will announce any days that allow guns not included in these rules to be used ahead of time if we choose to allow them for special days or events. As usual, rental players playing with low impact 50 caliber guns will continue to play only with others using low impact 50 caliber gear. This new change will allow all players who have their own 68 caliber equipment regardless of skill level or experience to be able to play together on any of our playing fields. This should make for larger games with more players eliminating the need to split players into “tournament” or “recreational” groups. With our recently opened world class hyperball field, Insane Paintball intends to make paintball fun for all and grow the game from the ground up for generations to come!

We will be happy to help with getting your gun back to a manufacturer to be reprogrammed for legal play if needed, or check out some of the newly released mechanical guns on the market that are budget priced with a lot of performance. Paintball Mechanical Gun Day – Oct 1st

Come out and play paintball the old school way! Insane Paintball is holding our first Mechanical Paintball Gun Day on October 1st for 68 caliber players. To mix things up the old school way, we will be playing games on the Fortress field, Ambush woods field, and the inflatable turf field. Price is $49.99 and includes a case of paint with entry fee. We will also offer free 68 caliber rentals to players who want to jump in and play (first come first served…limited to 15 rentals). This is a great opportunity for players of all skill levels to come together and play in a less intimidating environment with guns that do not shoot as fast as the tournament guns in the modern competitive setting. To help players that may not have a mechanical gun (no electronics in the gun), we will allow players to use electronic guns as long as they are capped at a maximum of 5.5 balls per second so they are handicapped to not shoot fast. Paintball vs Airsoft – Which should you play?

Paintball and airsoft are two different sports that have come to exist under the same roof. Here at Insane, we love to host parties for both games. They provide different experiences and cater to separate groups of individuals.

Paintball is the more well-known option, which uses small balls of paint, launched from air powered guns that focuses on teamwork, strategy, and stealth. Airsoft is a combat-simulation game, focused on creating a more realistic experience for its players. Those players use guns that are made to resemble real-life firearms and shoot tiny plastic pellets, instead of the larger paint-filled balls paintball players use.

We have a 40,000 square foot indoor Airsoft field where players have the opportunity to play fast, non-stop airsoft matches which usually last about ten minutes each. We also have three separate outdoor paintball fields where players can play in the woods, on an urban environment, or on a regulation competitive paintball field with turf.

If you book a group , we supply all the bb’s, paintballs, guns, air, and protective gear, so you don’t have to bring anything other than clothing to play in. We love hosting birthday parties in Chattanooga , as well.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PAINTBALL AND AIRSOFT?

Airsoft uses 6mm plastic or biodegradable bb pellets that do not break on impact like a paintball. Airsoft requires the honor system by calling “hits” when you are shot, where paintballs mark an opponent so you immediately know when you shoot a player. Most games are typically “respawn” with a time limit and an objective that is trying to be achieved by each team.

Low Impact Paintball: Less Pain, More Fun

Paintball is a fun and exciting activity, but the idea of getting hit and the pain, bruises, and welts that come with it may scare off new players. Low impact paintball is a newer alternative to traditional paintball that maintains the thrill of the game while reducing the pain associated with it, providing an enjoyable introduction for first-timers and younger kids.

What Is Low Impact Paintball?

The difference between low impact paintball and traditional paintball is pretty basic, and it comes down to the equipment used. A low impact paintball is .50 caliber, meaning it’s smaller than the .68 caliber traditional paintball. It also has about one third of the impact energy of a standard paintball. Why does this matter?

Simply put, getting hit by a .50 caliber low impact paintball stings much less. Players may barely even notice that they’ve been hit. Welts and bruises aren’t an issue, so the game is safer and you can focus on your strategy rather than worrying about the pain of getting hit.

Advantages of Low Impact Paintball vs. Regular Paintball

Aside from less pain, low impact paintball offers several advantages over the traditional version of the game. Some of these include:

– Smaller paintballs allow for the use of lighter weight and more compact equipment like air tanks and hoppers.

– Low impact paintballs make the guns more gas efficient, so players can spend more time playing and less time filling air tanks.

– Low impact paintballs use slightly less paint, so mess is kept at a minimum and the game is more environmentally friendly.

– The reduced pain means that kids as young as eight years old can play and have fun!

Team Combat Wins NXL Cleveland, Ohio Tournament!

Congratulations to Insane Paintball’s home team, Combat for winning the NXL Cleveland, Ohio tournament this past weekend in D4 5man. The team had a rocky start Saturday but made it out of the prelims to go 8-0 on Sunday to win the event strong.

Combat plans to finish out the season with some possible MSXL events in St. Louis and Lousville, and on to Orlando to try and bring home the holy grail of paintball trophies, the World Cup.

After coming out of the prelims 8-0 in first seed Insane Paintball’s home team Combat managed to fight their way to the finals of the NXL Nashville tournament and ended the event bringing 2nd place home to Insane Paintball in Chattanooga.

NXL Regulation XBall Field Now Open

Insane is excited to announce the addition of a regulation size NXL XBall field with artificial turf to our outdoor paintball fields. Designed for tournaments and competitive players to practice on for events, this field will also be available for all weekend private groups and open play. We plan to update the field layout to match the closest regional tournament’s layouts as they are released.

Full Facility Airsoft Game December 23rd

Insane Paintball/Airsoft will be donating all field fee profits on Saturday, August 1st to the National Compassion Fund to help the families and victims of the Chattanooga shootings on July, 16th that took the lives of 4 Marines and a Navy sailor. Several of our distributors are donating products that will be raffled off with 100% of the raffle income being given to the fund as well. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all that were involved. We hope that we can do our part to support the men and women as well as their families who protect our nation and give us the freedom to enjoy life as we know it. “Havoc” Paintball Field Opening May 16th Weekend

Insane Paintball’s newest field “Havoc” is opening to the public on Saturday, May 16th. It combines old school tournament style large fields with fast paced speedball action. The bunkers are cubes stacked in various positions that provide excellent cover for new and experienced players, but you’ve got to watch out in all directions as there are angles and blind shots all over the field. Teamwork is the key but a sneaky player can make a huge impact on the game if they position themselves in a good bunker. Havoc will easily hold games of 10 on 10 or even more if needed. Private groups and birthday parties will love Havoc since it is large enough for good size groups but offers a lot of cover for newer less experienced players. Come check it out for yourself or bring a group of friends to experience the havoc this field will turn games in to.

New Indoor Paintball Field (The Foundry) Now Open

The Foundry, Insane Paintball’s new indoor paintball field is now open for open play every weekend. At nearly 10,000 square feet, The Foundry is perfect for rainy days, tournament practices, and private group sizes of up to about 8 players per team. The floor is covered with artificial turf and has a padded backing so you can run and slide on it without injury. We are using inflatable bunkers that can be easily moved for unlimited field configurations to keep layouts fresh.

We have installed air fill stations that fill up to 4500 psi right at the entrance of the field so you can get air and get right back on the field without delay between games. There is also close to 2000 square feet of space behind the field that is also covered in turf for staging, spectators, etc.

All private groups, parties, and walk-on players during the week and on weekends can enjoy this new field in addition to our current fields, “Fortress” and “Ambush”.

Young Guns Low Impact Paintball Parties Now Available

“How bad does it hurt to get shot by a paintball?” “Doesn’t it hurt?” “I’m not playing because I’ve heard it hurts”. How many of these questions and statements have you heard from others or thought to yourself in the past? Once you start playing you realize paintball is very addicting, and it doesn’t hurt much at all while your adrenaline is flowing and you are hunting the other team. At Insane Paintball we want to help get more players in the game and not be afraid to try paintball because of the fear of getting shot.

To combat these common questions and statements, Insane Paintball has just begun offering our new “Young Guns” low impact paintball party option that is geared for ages 8-12 but can be played by anyone if they prefer to try it over traditional paintball. Young Guns uses a smaller size paintball that also shoots at a lower velocity so there is a softer impact when it hits. The guns and air tanks are also smaller and lighter so it is easier for younger kids to handle the equipment comfortably as well. Young Guns is also great for parents that are concerned about letting their kids go to a party where they will be getting “shot” and may come home with marks or small bruises. Young Guns drastically reduces the risk of getting bruised when a player is shot so parents can be worry free when trying to decide if paintball is safe. Don’t worry, everyone still wear full face masks with eye protection to ensure the safety of the player when playing Young Guns paintball.

Currently Insane Paintball is the only facility in the region to offer “Young Guns” Paintball parties. Group rates include up to 10 players and more can be added for larger parties. We look forward to this new group option being able to help more future players try

Insane Airsoft is the first field in the United States and most likely the entire world to have the new air powered Tippmann M4 Carbine airsoft guns available as rentals for new players and groups! Our rental package now includes an M4 Carbine rifle, Condor tactical vest, remote hose, and 13ci compressed air tank that is mounted to the tactical vest along with a full face mask. We guarantee that our rental players will not be outgunned when playing at Insane Airsoft.

Rentals are available every weekend for open play and for groups/parties that want to schedule during the week or on weekends.

Benefits to the new guns are increased reliability, realistic recoil, full metal bodies, and they are way more fun to shoot than regular electric guns!

Birthday Party in Chattanooga!

Have you been looking for a unique, exciting, and fun birthday party idea in the Chattanooga area? If so, then look no further! Insane Paintball/Airsoft birthday parties are an excellent option for all ages eight and up. We offer different packages for paintball or airsoft, and we have both indoor and outdoor playing fields so weather is never an issue. You and your kids are sure to have a blast!

For paintball parties Insane has the traditional “Special Operator” birthday package which includes 2 hours of playing time, rental equipment, and 2000 paintballs for up to 10 players. Additional players can be added to the group for larger parties. Younger players ages 8-12 may enjoy our “Young Guns” birthday package. It includes the same playing time and equipment for up to 10 players that the “Special Operator” package includes, but uses a smaller size paintball shooting at a lower velocity for a softer impact and less sting when getting shot. Both of the packages above include a private party room in one of our “barracks”, a FREE t-shirt for the birthday person and each player in the group will get a FREE gift as well.

The “Airsoft Assault” package is our birthday/group option for parties that want to play airsoft games. Insane offers a 40,000 square foot indoor arena called “Sector 5″ that is dedicated to airsoft play only. It features numerous types of cover consisting of cars, crates, buildings, blown up walls, and barrels to hide behind for cover. Sector 5 also has a pro audio sound system to really immerse players into the battlefield during each game. The Airsoft Assault package includes air powered high end Tippmann rental guns, tactical vests, and safety goggles for up to 10 players with 5000 rounds of ammo for the party. Additional players can be added if you wish to invite more. The birthday person will also get a FREE t-shirt.
